Please review the eligibility requirements below for travel insurance plan cancellation. To request a Plan Cancellation, use the “Get Started” button below. You should expect to receive an email response within five to seven business days.

This form is for requesting Cancellation of the Travel Guard Plan. Once the plan has been cancelled it cannot be reinstated.

If you do not want to cancel your travel insurance plan, but are looking for reimbursement of trip-cost losses, you may file a claim online. Please be advised we cannot pre-approve or pre-deny a claim.

You may be eligible for a refund of your premium if all of the following conditions are met:

  • You are requesting a premium refund from Travel Guard within 15 days of purchasing your travel insurance plan.**
  • Your request for a premium refund is made prior to the departure date listed on your travel insurance plan.
  • You have not filed a claim.

You may be eligible for a voucher for the full value of your travel insurance plan if all of the following conditions are met:

If you are not eligible for a refund of your premium, we may as a courtesy and accommodation issue you a travel insurance premium credit voucher for the full value of the travel insurance plan purchased.

  • You request a voucher prior to your trip departure date.
  • You confirm that you have not incurred any travel supplier fees, penalties, or unused, non-refundable, pre-paid trip costs of any kind.
  • You have not filed a claim.

**Note: NY, KS, SC, GA and AK residents may be eligible for a premium refund after the fifteen day period. Please contact 1-800-826-5248 for further details.
