What is the Wedding Bundle?
The Wedding Bundle helps provide attendees of destination or long-distance weddings with protection for their travel investment in the event the wedding is cancelled by the bride or groom. Of course, no one wants to think about the worst-case scenario, but you don’t want to be caught unprepared. Keep in mind this coverage is for attendees only. If you’re the bride or groom of the wedding, you won’t qualify for the coverage provided by the Wedding Bundle.
Can I add the Wedding Bundle to my existing Travel Guard travel insurance plan?
Yes! On relevant travel insurance plans, you can add it to your plan within 15 days of your initial trip payment to help ensure you have the coverage you may need.
Do I have coverage if the wedding is cancelled once I’m already on my trip?
No. This bundle only applies to trips that are cancelled prior to departure.
Does the Wedding Bundle provide insurance for my wedding ring or wedding dress while traveling?
No, the Wedding Bundle is primarily for guests who are traveling a long distance to attend a wedding. If you are traveling with valuable items for your wedding day, consider packing Travel Guard’s Deluxe Plan to ensure you have the highest benefit limits offered by Travel Guard for Baggage Coverage. Additionally, keep valuable items in your carry-on to best keep an eye on them.
